  • ESL and conversational English for work, school, healthcare, and appointments.
  • Computer basics such as email, forms, document uploads, printing, and online accounts.
  • Youth tutoring, homework support, and family school-navigation workshops.
  • Life skills workshops for transportation, banking, appointments, and community resources.
  • Digital literacy support for job searches, resumes, online applications, and video meetings.

Who it serves

The program is built especially for Haitian and immigrant families in Springfield and nearby areas, including adults learning English, parents navigating schools, youth needing tutoring, and newcomers learning local systems.

Expected outcomes

  • Participants can communicate more confidently in everyday situations.
  • Families can complete common forms and access online services more independently.
  • Youth receive additional academic support and encouragement.
  • The Center can track attendance, progress, and volunteer hours for grant reporting.
