  • Healthcare navigation and help understanding appointments or paperwork.
  • Family support for newly arrived immigrants and community members in transition.
  • Referrals to city, county, school, faith, and nonprofit partners.

How intake helps

A simple intake process helps staff understand urgent needs, household size, preferred language, transportation barriers, and the best follow-up method. This also helps the Center track services responsibly for future grants and donor reports.

Partner opportunities

  • Food pantries and meal programs can coordinate distribution days.
  • Clinics and social workers can offer referral pathways and workshops.
  • Churches and donors can sponsor emergency assistance funds.
  • Volunteers can help with calls, forms, translation, and follow-up.
